PROPOSALS to build 62 properties in Droitwich were given the go ahead by Wychavon District Council’s planning committee this afternoon (Thursday).
The homes are part of a 740-property development on which 280 have already been approved.
Among this latest development is two one-bedroom bungalows, two two-bedroom bungalows, 13 two-bedroom houses, six three-bedroom houses and two four-bedroom houses built on land between Roman Way and Copcut Lane in Salwarpe. 25 of the properties will be classed as affordable.
As well as the homes, the application also included changes to roads, landscaping and open space, footpath and cycle link provision.
The proposal, by William Davis Ltd, has been approved to go through reserved matters after outline planning permission was previously granted for the scheme.
