A DROITWICH school’s latest art exhibition has received welcome plaudits and is still on display for creative fans to experience.
Droitwich Arts Network are delighted to be hosting RGS Dodderhill’s exhibit which embraces the dynamic and talented GCSE Arts and Textiles students’ creativity.
The displays went on show at The Droitwich Hub in St Andrews Square on October 14 and will be showcased for a couple more weeks.
For the project, students have explored topics on personal interests and passions to pursue individual investigations for the GCSE courses in Art and Textiles.
The exhibition presents a flamboyant array of artistic pieces with works featuring horses, still life, architecture, bold fashion dresses and more.
Within the projects, each pupil has resourced and delved in to the work of other artist influences to support inspiration and creative flow for their GCSEs.
Art Teacher, Rachel Hatfield said: “ The resources and spaces in which the pupils work are ideal for creativity, and the School prides itself on the legacy of previous pupils by way of a framed hall of fame, exhibiting the very best pupils who have passed through the doors.”
The School has consistently produced excellent examination results in Art and Textiles, beginning their creative journey and development from Year 5, setting the foundations for success well before GCSE Level.
The RGS Dodderhill exhibition is embellished with colour, style and flare. It is not one to be missed. The Hub and Droitwich Arts Network are grateful and proud to acknowledge and present local and young talents.
The Hub is open Mondays and Fridays 10:00am – 4:00pm , and Saturdays 10:00am – 3:30pm. Visit www.droitwichartsnetwork.org or drop in to The Hub for more information.
