DROITWICH Lions are appealing for volunteers and vehicles to help drive Santa around the Spa this year so the man in the big red suit is not left trying to hitch a lift.
The group is once again organising the Santa’s sleigh event so youngsters across Droitwich can meet Father Christmas.
But, in the absence of reindeers, they need a driver and a vehicle to tow Santa so he can see as many children as possible.
Organiser John Kelly said: “The Santa’s sleigh is always such a popular event among the Droitwich residents and we want to make sure it goes ahead again this year.
“We need a volunteer to come forward and ensure Santa’s not left stranded.”
