A CARE home in Droitwich is delighted to announce its upcoming Harvest Festival which will raise funds for a worthy cause in September.
The event at Dorset House Care Home aims to unite residents, families and the local community to celebrate autumn’s bounty while supporting Macmillan Cancer Support.
This year’s Harvest Festival is set to be a vibrant celebration filled with community spirit, joyful activities, and the season’s warmth. It’s a time to honour the efforts behind the harvest and to share its rewards with those around us.
In addition to the festival, Dorset House is running a month-long food drive to support local food banks. Those wishing to donate do so at the Dorset House reception throughout September.
As a highlight of the Harvest Festival, Dorset House will host a Macmillan Coffee Morning to raise funds for Macmillan Cancer Support.
Attendees can indulge in delicious cakes and coffee while enjoying the company of friends, all supporting a cause that touches many lives.
The festivities will begin at 11am with a church service and hymns, followed by coffee and cakes in support of Macmillan.
A spokesperson for the care home said: “We look forward to welcoming you.”
