A DROITWICH care home has shared its delight in being shortlisted for a string of national awards.
Dorset House, operated by Rotherwood Healthcare, has been nominated for three accolades at the prestigious National Care Awards 2024.
These esteemed awards honour excellence in the care sector, recognising those who go above and beyond to deliver exceptional and compassionate care.
Staff member Pete Davis has been selected as a finalist for the highly esteemed Carer of the Year award. Pete is described as having an ‘unwavering dedicated and compassionate approach’ to enriching the lives of Dorset House residents.
In addition, head chef Marion and chef Karen, have been named finalists in the Care Chef of the Year Award category. The pair are described as a dynamic culinary team, who have worked together for several years to create enticing dining experiences and celebratory cakes for residents.
The homes operator, Rotherwood, has also been listed as a finalist for the Small Care Home Group category at the awards.

The winners of the National Care Awards 2024 will be announced at a ceremony on Friday, November 29 at the Excel, London.
