THERE are special timetables in place for the county’s buses over the festive season.
On Wednesday (Christmas Eve), the 144, 144A and 147 will operate a Saturday timetable with the last journeys being at 6.20pm from Worcester, meaning the bus to Birmingham will leave at 6.45pm. The 8.20pm 144 will only go to Bromsgrove. The last one from the Second City is at 7.50pm. That goes from Droitwich to Worcester at 8.53pm.
There will be no services on Christmas Day or Boxing Day.
There will be normal Saturday timetables on December 27 and the usual Sunday services on December 29.
Saturday timetables will operate on December 30 except the 354, which will the usual Tuesday timetable.
With regard to the 144s, the 7.15pm, 9.55pm and 11.15pm – arriving at Droitwich at 7.35pm, 10.15pm and 11.34pm respectively – will not run. The 8.45pm and 11.20pm from Birmingham, which are due to arrive in Droitwich at 9.48pm and 12.16am will also not be running.
On New Year’s Eve, there will be usual Saturday timetables, apart from the 133 which will have its normal Wednesday times in force.
