ICED Christmas cakes, made by the Wychavon branch of the Sugarcraft Build, have been made and delivered to St Richard’s Hospice.

The women, who meet in Droitwich, have made 30 cakes in total which will be sold, auctioned or raffled to raise funds for the charity.

Sarah Patrick, St Richard’s fund-raising assistant, said: “These cakes are lovingly crafted, each one is unique and truly beautiful.

“They almost look too good to eat.

“We are so grateful to the ladies for donating their time and energy in this way.”

Ann Newton from the group said members really enjoyed creating these cakes for the hospice.

“Our ladies have come up with a wide variety of designs to suit all tastes.

“It’s an annual labour of love and we are delighted to see them generating money for a wonderful cause.” she added.
