THE NEW president of Droitwich Lions has said the club would love to welcome some new members in what is the organisation’s 30th year.
Dave Sherwin said it was a great honour to take up the role and spoke about his hopes for a memorable year of service to the the town.
The club was chartered in May 1985 and still has five charter members in its ranks.
But, said Dave, he would love to see some fresh blood coming into the organisation.
“Anyone who feels they could spare a little time to the benefit of others, and have some fun as well, would be very welcome.” he added.
