Droitwich organisations urged to get a wreath for WWI remembrance

Droitwich Editorial 24th Jul, 2014 Updated: 17th Oct, 2016   0

BUSINESSES and organisations across Droitwich are being urged to take part in this year’s Remembrance Sunday commemorations by laying a wreath to mark the centenary of the First World War.

Those who participate will be able to pay their respects to the fallen in conflicts past and present and there are a range of wreaths available, with just a small donation needed to cover production and delivery costs.

Final orders have to be placed with the Royal British Legion in early August 2014 so those wanting a wreath need to let the organisers know by July 31.

For more, or to order a wreath, email katherine@forgetmenotweddings.co.uk or call Katherine Holmes from Forget-me-not Wedding and Events on 01905 921557.

Alternatively, pop into the Droitwich Spa British Legion branch in Salwarpe Road or pick up an order form from the Tourist Information Centre in St Richard’s House.
