A NEW climbing frame at Droitwich’s St Josephs Catholic Primary School and Nursery is a significant moment for staff and pupils – the final improvement since the devastating fire three years ago.
The blaze in January 2021 destroyed part of the school and led to the Keys Stage 1 and EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) block being totally rebuilt.
Since then, the school has been rebuilt and resources replenished to provide a learning environment the children deserve.
This week the school celebrated the climbing frame and the completion of all refurbishment from the fire.
The equipment is in the early years outdoor classroom and provides an exciting opportunity for our reception and pre-school children to develop their physical skills!
The new climbing frame has also been installed in time for the St Joseph’s open day which takes place between 9am and 4pm on November 14.
Parents with a child starting school in September next year are welcome to visit the school and see what it is all about.
