THE FUNERAL of former Droitwich Spa Mayor Glenise Noyes will take place at the town’s St Andrew’s Church at 1pm this afternoon (Monday).
From about 12.15pm, prior to the service which will give thanks for her life, Glenise’s coffin will be carried along the High Street to the church so residents and representatives from organisations will be able to pay their respects.
Glenise passed away on May 19 after a short illness, with her husband Tom and son Joe by her side.
Following the service, there will be a committal at Worcester Crematorium from 3.15pm.
Glenise’s husband, Coun Tom Noyes, has requested no flowers or cards.
Instead, the family have asked those who do want to do something to donate to the Midlands Air Ambulance, either on the day or via Powell & Family, 15 North Street, Droitwich, Worcestershire, WR9 8JB. The funeral directors can also be called on 01905 827767.
