DROITWICH residents will be able to learn about the town’s rich broadcasting history at a Remember the Radio exhibition from Monday (July 28).
To celebrate the 80th anniversary of the Wychbold Radio Masts a large showcase of BBC broadcasting memorabilia, radios and photographs has been put on display at the Droitwich Spa Heritage and Information Centre.
The exhibition, which will run until September 13, is made up of many items lent out by former BBC Droitwich man John Philips.
Sarah Davies, one of the heritage managers who has been organising the event, said: “It is going to be fantastic, there will be something for everyone.
“We hope we will see lots of visitors come and make the most of it and enjoy the rest of the heritage centre as well.”
