DROITWICH dignitaries will be welcomed at a local care home’s upcoming summer fete later in August.
Rashwood Care Home in Wychbold will host the mayor of Droitwich, councillor Alex Sinton and invites the local community to join its fund filled family day out.
The Summer Fête is an important event for Rashwood, providing residents, their families, staff, and the wider community a chance to come together and enjoy a day of festivities.
This year’s fête is expected to be the biggest yet, featuring a range of activities and attractions suitable for all ages. Entertainment will include local bands, choirs and dance groups alongside family activities, a raffle, an arts and crafts market, a resident showcase and food and drink. The event takes place from 2.45pm to 4.45pm on Saturday, August 31.
“We are incredibly excited about this year’s Summer Fête,” said Hannah, clinical care manager of Rashwood Care Home.
“It’s a wonderful opportunity for our residents to engage with the community and for families and friends to enjoy a day of fun and togetherness. We encourage everyone to come along and join in the celebrations.”
Admission is free with donations welcome. Proceeds will go towards enhancing the lives of residents at the home.
