A CAMERA club in Droitwich is set to start its new season and is inviting photography enthusiasts from around the town to join up with other keen amateurs.
Droitwich Camera Club’s new 2024-25 programme consists of a mixture of presentations by leading photographers, competitions led by independent registered judges and activity evenings.
The first meeting will feature a showcase of the best photographs taken by its members during the 2023-24 season, along with short video presentations.
There will also be time set aside for members to socialise and connect with fellow photography enthusiasts.
The club meet between 8pm and 10pm every Monday from September to April, either at Droitwich Methodist Church or on Zoom.
Looking beyond the first meeting, the committee has created a full programme paying particular attention to comments and requests from members.
Club chairman, Nigel Reader, said: “Our varied programme will help members improve and develop their skills in all aspects of photography no matter what their level of ability.”
