A NURSERY manager in Droitwich has been shortlisted for a national award.
Operators of Happy Days Nursery in Yew Tree Village are ‘extremely proud’ of manager, Ashley Webb, who is a finalist for the Nursery Manager NMT Award.
As part of the nomination, Ashley had to demonstrate her leadership skills and the ability to support, develop and motivate staff, alongside her responsibilities to work with young children and their families.
Sam Richardson, early years operations manager, stated, “We are delighted that Ashley has been recognised for this award.
“Since joining Happy Days in 2023 to open our new nursery in Droitwich, she has developed an exceptional staff team, leading and guiding them to ensure the best quality care and education are provided to the children, every day.
“Her partnership with parents is excellent, having secured a daynurseries score of 10 within the first 10 months of the nursery opening. She truly is a magnificent manager and we are extremely proud of her.”
Along with demonstrating her management skills, Ashley also received some amazing testimonials from staff, parents and the children. The winner will be announced at the Awards Ceremony at Platinum Suite on November 30.
Other awards will be presented for Community Nursery of the Year, The SENCo Award, Nursery Team of the Year, Deputy Nursery Manager of the Year, Lifetime Achievement Award and more.
