DROITWICH Spa Festival of local food, music and arts will kick off tonight (Friday), with a celebratory meal at the town’s St Andrews Town Hotel.
Droitwich Spa’s German Twinning Group will also be performing at the Sacred Heart, on Worcester Road, from 7pm. Tickets are £10. Call 01905 775 917 to book.
Tomorrow (Saturday), Spatans will be able to enjoy more than 100 food and drink stalls which will be in and around the town centre between 10am and 4pm.
There will also be demonstrations from five Worcestershire chefs, a great junior bake off, live music and entertainment along with real ale and cider bars.
As well as this, Done By Sunrise, Four Tart Harmony, Harper’s Ferry Band, Terry Walls and Damian Matthew will be performing live on the main stage in Victoria Square.
From 1pm, on Sunday (June 22) BBC Hereford and Worcester will be hosting a live radio show at the Gardeners Arms.
Residents have also been invited to the Chateau Impney Hotel to enjoy a historic tour and afternoon tea, from 2.30pm.
Later in the week, on Wednesday (June 25) at 7.30am the Norbury Theatre will be showing the film War Horse.
A special comedy night has also then been organised by the Gardeners Arms, on Vines Lane, on Thursday (June 26).
And there will also be mosaics at the Sacred Heart Church from 7pm.
