Police appeal after farmer's crops damaged by drivers in Droitwich

POLICE are investigating an incident which led to crops in a farmer’s fields were damaged in Droitwich.

The incident happened between 11pm on Tuesday and 2am on Wednesday in Elmbridge.

The perpetrators gained access to the fields and then drove over the land and damaged some freshly planted crops.

Gate locks were cut off and it appears there were two vehicles which drove over 15 fields in ttotal. Police said uunfortunately there was no CCTV.

Officers have urged anyone with information or anyone who sees people in vehicles acting suspiciously late at night or in the early hours of the morning to report it by calling 101 or 999 if the crime is in progress.
