POLICE are probing a serious three-car crash which happened in Droitwich.
The incident took place on the B4090 on Friday night (October 17) as a bronze coloured Vauxhall Astra hatchback and a white Citroen Berlingo panel van were travelling towards Inkberrow.
It is believed the Astra collided with a white BMW, which was going in the opposite direction.
The driver of the Astra, a 51-year-old man from Droitwich, suffered severe injuries, which were thought to be life-threatening.
He was taken to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital by ambulance.
The driver of the BMW, a 54-year-old man from Inkberrow, and the three passengers in the car all went to the Worcestershire Royal Hospital after sustaining minor injuries.
The road was closed at the junction for Himbleton.
