THOUSANDS of pounds worth of power tools were taken from two Ford Transit vans parked off the Worcester Road.

The first incident took place between 7.20pm and 8.35pm on Monday (August 24) at The Havester in Wychbold. Among the items taken were tools and a tool bag worth £300, a £400 Stihl petrol saw and a Milwakee red holdall full of tools valued at £500.

It is believed the thieves forced the lock to get into the vehicle, causing £150 in damages.

The second incident took place some time between 5.30pm last Saturday (August 24) and 6.30am the next day at the Premier Inn in Upton Warren.

A camera screen, a Makita grinder and a Husqarna petrol cutter, all valued at £1,000, were taken from the van.

A black Vauxhall Vectra was seen in the area at the time of the incidents but it has not been confirmed if it is connected.

The two incidents have also been linked.
