PUPILS from Westacre Middle School enjoyed some Olympic spirit before they broke up for the summer holidays when their Eisteddfod Creative Arts Festival was themed on Paris 2024.
The event gave the children the chance to showcase their talents and skills in a wide range of categories.
On the day, there were singers, dancers, poets and more with one pupil, Archie Wild, baking a decorating a cake based on this year’s theme.
As well as medals being awarded for all events, certificates for displaying the spirit of Eisteddfod were also awarded.
Headteacher Donna Evans said: “The school offers live and non live events, ensuring accessibility for all.
“It is an absolute delight to see the enthusiasm and effort the children show throughout the festival.
“As a school, we want to develop and bring out the best in all children across all areas of the curriculum.
“We already have exciting plans for Eisteddfod 2025.”
