A HALLOWEEN-themed event at Wilko in Droitwich has raised £240 for the Midlands Air Ambulance.
The spooktacular party for the Spa community was held on Sunday (October 26) and customers were entertained with a variety of activities, including apple bobbing, wrapping up mummies, a frightful quiz and a best costume competition.
Sarah Kerlew, the Droitwich Wilko’s store manager, said the team worked hard to make the Halloween fundraiser a gruelling success.
“It showed where there’s a Wilko – there’s a way to get our customers’ spines tingling as we raised some much-needed funds for our charity of the year.”
Sofia Voutianitis, corporate fund-raising manager at Midlands Air Ambulance Charity, said: “It looks like the Wilko team really transformed the store into something spectacular for Halloween and we’re really pleased that the customers enjoyed it.”
She added the charity was grateful to the Droitwich team for its continued support.
“The money they donated will enable the charity to continue its crucial lifesaving work in communities across the Midlands.” she added.
