Windows of Droitwich's Raven Hotel set to be boarded up 'to prevent further trespassers'

THE WINDOWS of the Raven Hotel are set to be boarded up to block off all points of entry to prevent trespassers entering the building.

PCSO Denise Bushell, from Droitwich East town and rural Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT), said: “This will deter criminal damage and anti-social behaviour in and around that area.

“Signs will also be put up around that area to make persons aware.”

And she said that was the only information available at this time.

We reported last month that Wychavon District Council had contacted the owners, warning them to take urgent steps to protect the building or face legal action.

The move followed public concerns that not enough was being done to prevent people vandalising the 16th Century Grade II listed building.
