A WORCESTER care home resident made a generous clothing donation to Maggs Day Centre.
Joyce, a resident at The Belmont care home cleared out her wardrobe and donated clothes to the centre after learning about their appeal for donations on social media.
The care home drove Joyce to the centre, where she was welcomed to a private tour to see the facilities available.
Melissa Blewitt, marketing and relations manager at Maggs Day Centre, said: “We want to say a huge thank you to Joyce for thinking of Maggs and donating her clothes to our Clothing Project.
“It was wonderful for the team to bring Joyce down and allow us to show them the shop and the items we currently stock for people experiencing homelessness across the county.
“We look forward to continuing our partnership with The Belmont care home.
“Reflecting on her donation, Joyce noted, “I was very pleased to donate my clothes to Maggs.
“It was good to see behind the scenes and learn more about their work. I hope to visit again sometime.”
