CHILDREN at St Peter’s First School in Droitwich danced up almost £400 for Macmillan Cancer Support last week.
Dressed to impress, mini John Travoltas in their leather jackets and ballerinas in their tutus wowed their parents and teachers with their dancing skills during their Dress up and Dance Day.
The money was made up by each child who donated £1 and all the parents who put cash in the donation buckets which were sent around while the children put on their special performance.
Headteacher Tracey O’Keeffe-Pullan said: “It was lovely to see so many people dressed up and dancing.
“A fun start to the day, enjoyed by everyone and all for a great cause.”
