Moseley win by 8 wickets

BROMSGROVE won the toss in the weekend’s game and elected to bat.




They and reached 115 all out with Joe Dodd (25) and Jayden Levitt (27) the best of the bunch and although the Boars dismissed Usman Awan for 5 Neville Talbot went on to make 42 and then Asim Shoaib and Inderpal Singh Nadra, both not out, made 37 and 28 respectively.

County T20


THE Boars will take on Stourbridge in the second semi final of the Worcestershire County T20 Cup on Sunday 24th August. The match will start at 12:45pm at Kings School, Worcester.

The first semi final sees Barnards Green face Ombersley and the final will take place at the New Road County Ground starting at 4.30pm.

Worcs v MCC Youngsters

ON Friday, July 25th, Bromsgrove C.C. hosts a Match at its St. Godwald’s Park ground between Worcestershire 2nd XI and the MCC Young Cricketers in the County 2nd XI Trophy Competition

This is your chance of seeing both the County’s and other stars of the future – Ian Botham is one of many future Test Players who started their careers as MCC Young Cricketers.

The Match, which is 50 Overs a Side, starts at 11.00.a.m and entry and parking are free.

Dougie Bridge

Dougie Bridge has taken 6 wickets in 10 deliveries to ensure Bromsgrove win this years Under 16 league.

The Boars were defending a score of 96 against Redditch who were 72-4 before Bridge’s bowling reduced them to 76 all out – all 6 wickets were bowled with 4 of them sending the off stump cartwheeling.

Tomorrow the Boars are at home against Harborne.
