DROITWICH have been crowned Midlands Two West (South) champions after their emphatic 75-5 victory over bottom-of-the-table Old Yardleians.
The Monners only needed a bonus-point win this afternoon (Saturday) to make it back-to-back titles after winning the Midlands Three West (South) crown as ‘Invincibles’ last term, winning all 22 of their league games.
The Glyn Mitchell Memorial Ground side eased to victory over Yardleians who end the season without a single league win to their name.
Droitwich will now ply their trade in Midlands One West for the first time in their history.
Some big games await for captain James Shewell and Co, including two huge derbies against Bromsgrove.
Before then, Droitwich complete their league campaign next season when they entertain Evesham next Saturday.
