DODDERHILL School is celebrating after they secured a gold and bronze medal at the National Independent School Association Athletics Championships in Birmingham.
Several schools across Worcestershire descended on the Alexander Stadium where Dodderhill pupil Holly Kenward walked away with the gold medal in the Year 7 Girls’ hurdles race.
Amelia Rudd brought home the bronze medal for the school as she finished third in the Year 8-9 Girls’ 800m race.
Dodderhill’s headmistress Cate Mawston said: “We are so proud of the girls who all performed outstandingly well. Spirits were high despite the rain and we had a fantastic day.
“We are really proud to have represented the Midlands at the event and well done to everyone who took part.”
