DROITWICH Dolphins travelled to Stechford for the second round of the Nuneaton Junior League and against tough competition, they secured a fourth place finish overall.
Against teams higher in the league table, Dolphins enjoyed a successful gala as 16 personal best times were achieved.
The only win for the Dolphins came in the girls mixed age cannon consisting of Ruby Ingles, Alice Davison, Beth Stokes, Lillia Barley, Lily Smith, Sophie Pitts, May Davison and Felicity Quiney.
Second place finishes for the Dolphins went to Oliver Whiteside in the ten years breaststroke, Stokes in the ten year backstroke and Will Hughes in the 11 year freestyle which saw a nail-biting finish with less than 0.2 seconds between the first two.
Third places for the Dolphins were flentiful with a double for Ingles in the nine years butterfly and freestyle.
Other individual third places went to Smith, Ben Chadwick and Quiney in the butterfly, Will Colley and Harry Grech in the backstroke, Rowan Dennett in the breaststroke and Pitts in the freestyle.
There was also third places in the relay for both the boys and girls 11 years medley and freestyle teams of Alysha Baylis, Pitts, Smith, Stokes, Olivia Weaver, Barley and Sophie Peart.
The final relay third went to the 12 year girls medley team of Smith, Stella Taylor, Quiney and May Davison.
The Dolphins are now working hard in preparation for the final round of the Nuneaton Junior League in June.
