Kevin Hodges and Bob Smith won 7-5, 6-4 in their first match before a 1-6, 6-2, 2-6 loss in their second.
Eric Cartelet and Rich Clive gave everything but unfortunately lost their first match 1-6, 4-6 and their second 4-6, 2-6 as Hallow won by the tightest of margins.
The Ladies D secured a 4-2 victory over David Lloyd Worcester C to move up to third in the Division Seven East table.
Julie Rhodes and Hazel Briggs lost their first match 4-6, 2-6 before an efficient display in their second match saw them run out 6-2, 6-4 winners.

Elsewhere, the under-16 boys team were narrowly beaten 2-1 by Division Two Group A leaders Redditch A.
James Stanford and Jonathan Coste put in a spirited performance as they pushed Redditch all the way but were eventually edged out.
