Pillar of Dreams, who sit 18 points off the top, held on to the runners-up spot despite going down 6-3 to third placed Hop Pole Green Army.
The only way Green Army would have secured second would have been to have won 9-0 and their opponent not text in the result to league officials.

Star Dinosaurs ended their season on a positive note, running out emphatic 8-1 winners against Westcroft Arms.
Championship winners Doverdale Arms brought the curtain down on their successful season with an 8-1 victory over Salty Balls to win the title by seven points.
Elsewhere, The Dovey saw off basement boys Bite The Pillar 5-4 to secure fifth place.
