Family earn a hat-trick of black belts together

TAE KWON DO: A FATHER and his two children have pulled off a unique hat-trick by all being graded for their black belts at the same time and passing.

Jason Rogers, who has been in training for 24 years, passed his 4th Dan, son Ryan. 14, who has trained for seven years passed his second Dan and sister Abi, nine, who has been part of the tae kwon do for academy for four years, passed her first Dan.

The Elite Tae Kwon Do Academy martial artists, were each pushed to their limits for three-and-a-half hours before being graded at Martial Artists World in Andover, Hampshire.

Ryan Evans-Keeling attends Waseley Hills High School and daughter Abbi Evans-Keeling attends Lickey Hills Primary School and weer put through their paces by five of the country’s top Tae kwon do masters of the art.
