THREE Gaudet Luce Golf Club youngsters have been selected for the England Golf under-16 regional squads for the 2016/17 training programme.
Constance Brooks and Megan Evans will represents the girls West Midlands team and Brandon Sarfo will represent the boys.
And the trio follow in the footsteps of players such as Masters champion Danny Willett and the world number two amateur Bronte Law, both of whom came through the England regional squad system.
In total, 130 players have been selected for the under-16 squads which consist of West and East Midlands.
The East Midlands squads are:
Girls: Emily Dunne (Park Hill, Leicestershire), Jade Guest (Gog Magog, Cambs & Hunts), Charlotte Hazelwood (Notts Ladies’, Nottinghamshire), Ella Mason (Ely City, Cambs & Hunts), Kirsten Thorpe (Park Hill, Leicestershire). Coach John Mellor, Manager Robert Heathcote
