DROITWICH SPA secured early bragging rights over local rivals Fairfield Villa on Bank Holiday Monday as they came from two goals down to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat.
Joe Brookes and Ellis Blakemore had fired Fairfield into a 2-0 lead going into the break before Nick Seabourne and James Lemon pulled the Saltmen level with seven minutes to go.
However, the drama was not over as former Fairfield midfielder James Ward propped up in the second minute of injury time to smash home the winner for Spa who maintained their unbeaten start to the new Midland League Division Two campaign.
