ONE of the best winter performances in the history of Droitwich Tennis Club has seen them lift an incredible eight divisional championships across the Herefordshire & Worcestershire League.
Both men’s and women’s teams across the board were crowned champions with some staggering performance right up until the final day of the season.
Despite no mixed doubles titles, the Women’s A, B, C and E teams won their respective divisions, while the Men’s A, B, C and D sides claimed their respective division titles.
Club chairman Neil Bates said: “The foundation of the club is built on encouraging players of all ages and abilities to play tennis and to have this level of success is quite simply unprecedented.
“It is a very proud day for the club and those involved in representing Droitwich.”
