JOINT-BOSS Wayne Oliver wants to see a reaction from Droitwich Spa in this weekend’s Worcestershire FA Saturday Junior Cup semi-final against rivals Feckenham.
The Saltmen returned to Midland League Division Two action last Saturday but slumped to a 2-1 home defeat to champions elect NKF Burbage.
Now Oliver wants to see his players get back on the winning trail tomorrow (Saturday) and hopes the game can finally get the go-ahead at the third time of asking.
The clash had already been postponed twice due to the recent spells of poor weather.
“It’s a case of third time lucky with our cup semi-final,” said Oliver.
“We just want to see a reaction and see if we can get ourselves into a final.
“The football gods say we will probably get knocked out on penalties having been dumped out of three of four competitions that way.
“It would not surprise me if it went to penalties but it would be nice to have some luck go our way.”
Graham Pardoe (knee) and Matthew Hunt (work) miss out but Mark Burrows returns.
