HIMBLETON continued their push for promotion with a Sean Jenkins’ inspired win over Old Vigorians.
The opener posted an impressive 114 as the Meadow Boys scored 296-5, with Alastair and Richard Pretty contributing with 53 and 38 respectively.
Chris Drew responded for the hosts with 64, but he was removed by Paul Guy and Himbleton looked firmly on top.
Guy notched up two further wickets while Mike Rogers also claimed three men, including catching and bowling Charles Lamb to seal the win.
The result keeps Himbleton in second place and just 13 points behind Division Three of the Worcestershire County League leaders Alvechurch & Hopwood.
