FOUR Kazuko-Kan Judo Club members claimed medals at the Samurai Orange belt and under competition in Kidderminster.
James Worsfold was first on the mat for the Droitwich-based club and put up a great effort against bigger opponents with more experience to grab a bronze medal.
Not to be outdone, Felicity Warbuton faced some stiff opposition and despite having to be pulled from the competition due to a shoulder injury, her performance still managed to secure her a bronze.
Next up was Joshua Warburton who put up a fantastic display and also picked up bronze.
Molly Charlwood was last on the mat and came away with a silver medal for her efforts.
Instructor Rich Morrish who was on hand as coach for the team said “These kids are doing a fantastic job at these competitions, representing themselves, their parents and the club to the very best standards, we couldn’t be prouder of them.”
Kazoku-Kan also extended congratulations to James Harrison and Luke Phillips who were representing Worcester Judo Club and won gold and silver respectively.
