A BROMSGROVE kickboxer will be fighting for the BLCC English Title at the weekend a week after winning the Midland Area Title.
George Taylor, 14, will take on Louis Elms from Leicester PKA Fighting for the -60kg Boys BLCC English Title on Sunday 13th in Burton.
It is the is the first time a fighter in the BLCC has taken the challenge of two title fights in the space of a week and Taylor will be fighting five one-and-half minute rounds for the title.
Taylor trains at the USKA Fight Factory in Birmingham under the expertise of chief instructor Neil Kelly and Fight Coach Sean Quinn and has a record of 15 fights 13 wins 2 loses.
Taylor joined USKA in 2013 and had a great year winning a silver medal at the ICO British Championships and bronze medal at the BKC National championships
This year has started with Taylor winning the Welsh open Championships and two gold medals at the ICO European championships picking up one gold medal in the ring and one on the mats.
Last weekend Taylor won his first title belt competing in the BLCC Boys -60kg for the midland area Title on fight zone 8, fighting five one minute rounds with a unanimous points win over Anthony Lissaman.
Taylor is also a part of the ICO team England kickboxing squad and will be travelling to Italy to fight in Tuscany at the unified world championships in October with the full support of his sponsor M.R. Allen Limited.
He trains five days a week to compete at these levels and the hard work and skills of his instructors to compete in some of the best kickboxing tournaments in Britain and internationally.
